Feb 2012 - A Mom & her children

This lady lives not far from the school and she invited us over to visit her home.  She is just a lovely person and keeps her home (dirt floor and all!) very neat and tidy.  She is very proud of the fact that her children attend the school and are getting an education (you can see their school certificates framed on the adobe wall).  Unfortunately, her husband passed away a short time ago and she is having some financial difficulty as a result.  We found out that she has not had the money to purchase school uniforms for two of her children so we decided to assist her with that.  As you can see, the children look great in their new uniforms and they accompanied their mother to to the school to present us with hand made "thank you" cards....a very special moment for us!
